About the bands:
One of Denmark’s greatest metal profiles returns home when KING DIAMOND visits COPENHELL 2025. The legendary singer is famous for his iconic falsetto voice, dramatic storytelling and incredibly engaging and atmospheric stage show. The audience will be taken on a theatrical journey through the darkness with the master’s creepy horror metal, and you can look forward to both old fan favourites like ‘Abigail’, ‘A Mansion In Darkness’ and ‘Sleepless Nights’, as well as other great eighties classics and all his exciting newer material.

”Assault music” is probably the best term for CATTLE DECAPITATION’s approach to metal. Their incredibly violent deathgrind is one long and relentless sonic attack – a dark doomsday soundtrack for the band’s lyrics about the planet’s decay, delivered with Travis Ryan’s unparalleled vocals. This is intelligent and brutal music that dishes out hard punishment to both your mind and senses – be prepared for an extreme experience!

Back in 1985, the Liverpool band CARCASS were pioneers within both grindcore and melodic death metal, and they are still – 40 years later! – one of the strongest acts on this scene. Their genre-defining music is uncompromising, merciless and razor-sharp. Albums like ’Heartwork’ and ’Surgical Steel’ are very cherished among death metal enthusiasts who love the band for their exquisite combination of incredible technical skill and untamed aggression.

Good, old-fashioned thrash metal! Ever since the early eighties, EXODUS has been doing one thing – and they have been doing it really well! Since the beginning, this band has been one of the most influential acts during the Bay Area metal explosion in the US, and they are known for their breakneck speed, ultra-sharp riffs and social indignation. These founding fathers may have contributed to creating a whole music genre almost half a century ago, but their rebellious spirit still drives their wild music today, many years later.

The Swedish rock band NESTOR started all the way back in 1989 and released only a few EP’s in the following years before they chose to go on a long hiatus… All the way to 2021 where they released their debut album ‘Kids In A Ghost Town’! The band delivers an extremely melodical interpretation of ’80s hard rock and glam metal, which will no doubt bring a little tear to the eye of everyone who loves the music of that decade.

HEALTH is a genre-agnostic DIY trio from Los Angeles that plays with the boundaries for industrial, noise and electronic rock. Futuristic synth landscapes merge effortlessly together with catchy melodies when the band combines dissonant brutal discharges with otherworldly harmonies in a completely unique audio landscape tinged with anxiety, sorrow and melancholy.

The American band SUN DONT SHINE used to be called EYE AM and consists of members of prominent bands like Type 0 Negative and Crowbar: A strong group of names that have been a part of carrying hard and heavy rock for years. Their music is heavy, melodic and atmospheric, and full of raw, unfiltered energy that creates a very special identity. You can look forward to experiencing a new band with skilled and experienced musicians who are about to redefine rock music yet again.

TROLD plays folk metal from the big, dark Danish forests with a mischievous smile. Storytelling inspired by Nordic fairytales and mythology, and melodies are front and center when the band plays with various folk instruments and heavy guitar rhythms, while the stories are growled, hissed and sung – kicking off an atmospheric audience party!

With raw talent and great passion, the power trio BASTARDANE delivers a cornucopia of groovy riffs and dissonant tones in a melting pot of sludgy, thrashy, progressive and melodic rock. We look forward to hearing these three young noisemakers with their devil-may-care attitude and heavy modern rock.

FLESHWATER plays a combination of shoegaze, alternative rock and post-hardcore – full of distortion, reverb and atmospheric melodies. They take their inspiration from the ‘90s alternative scene, and nostalgia and innovation meet in a field of tension that is vibrating with a dreamy intensity. This is introspective and memorable music from a band that is in the process of defining its very own voice within modern rock.
