Metallica har släppt trailern till dokumentären ‘Metallica Saved My Life’

En officiell dokumentär om bandets fans – regisserad av mångåriga kollaboratören Jonas Åkerlund – kommer att visas i amerikanska städer under de kommande veckorna. Kolla in trailern här nedan!

Metallica har släppt trailern för deras nya dokumentär Metallica Saved My Life. Filmen – som regisserats av Jonas Åkerlund som även regisserade Lords Of Chaos samt musikvideorna till Metallicas Whiskey In The Jar, Turn The Page och Manunkind – kommer att fira bandets världsomspännande fanbas och fokusera på deras personliga berättelser. Alla fyra av bandets medlemmar kommer att dyka upp, liksom superstjärnan Jason Momoa.

“As a few of you may know, we’ve been working behind the scenes the last couple of years on a new film that will be released later this year starring you guys! Metallica Saved My Life explores our world through the lives of fans who have supported each other through highs, lows, trials and triumphs for over four decades. And yeah, we’re in it a little bit too.”

They add: “Tickets are available now in all tour cities except Columbus and are limited to two per person. We’ll keep a close eye on sales and add screenings where possible should your city sell out quickly. If the film is not coming to your city or you can’t make it this time, never fear – the full documentary is expected to be released later this year.”
